Mental Health & Psychosocial Support
Arabic-language care and psychosocial services for people who face real barriers to help.
EMERGE expands access to mental health and psychosocial care across MENA through Arabic-language counseling, online services, clinical and community-based response where available, group programming, caregiver aid, supervision, and responsible referral.
Many people affected by crisis face barriers to MHPSS: stigma, cost, distance, insecurity, language, limited services, family pressure, and lack of trusted care. For women and girls, refugees, displaced families, children, caregivers, and people in sensitive situations, these can compound. Care must be reachable, confidential, culturally grounded, supervised, and honest about its limits.
THRC, the Trauma Healing Resource Center, is EMERGE's specialized center for trauma healing and mental health and psychosocial care, strengthening direct services, training, supervision, group and individual sessions, child and adult psychosocial programming, emergency-response trauma response, House of Compassion & Rest child and caregiver aid, referral quality, and safe practice across MENA.
Arabic-speaking adults, women and girls, refugees, displaced families, caregivers, children, adolescents, and people affected by crisis, grief, violence, displacement, and prolonged instability who face barriers to safe care.
