Economic Recovery & Stability
Practical help with rent, food, and household costs — so a family can stop surviving day to day and start rebuilding.
EMERGE supports families and community institutions affected by displacement, poverty, trauma, and social vulnerability through practical assistance, household stability support, referral pathways, and protection sensitive economic support where available.
For families affected by crisis, poverty is not only an income issue. It affects food, rent, education, health, safety, relationships, emotional wellbeing, and the ability to plan. When economic pressure rises, risks can also rise, including child labor, early marriage, exploitation, debt pressure, school dropout, and family stress.
Local schools and community services may also face pressure during crisis. When these institutions struggle, children lose routine, families lose trusted support, and communities become more vulnerable.
Refugees, displaced families, women headed households, young people, children, persons with disabilities, older people, caregivers, local schools, community based services, and families affected by poverty, crisis, trauma, displacement, or social vulnerability.
